How to Make Crispy Honey Chilli Potato

    Crispy honey chilli potatoes are a popular Indo-Chinese appetizer which is super easy to make.  Deep fried potato fingers tossed in a thick honey chilli sauce that's sweet and spicy.             INGREDIENTS:   4-5 Medium sized potatoes   4 Cups of water  2 Tsp Salt   1 Tbsp plain flour (Maida)  1 Tbsp rice flour   1/3 Cup of plain flour (Maida)  1/3 Cup of rice flour  ½ Cup of water   Vegetable oil for deep frying   2 Tbsp Oil   5-6 Cloves of garlic, finely chopped  1 Small sliced onion  2 Sliced green chilies   1 Tsp raw sesame seeds   ½ Tsp sugar   1 Tbsp red chili sauce   1 Tsp soya sauce   2 Tbsp tomato ketchup   ½ Tsp black pepper  ½ Cup of water  2 Tsp corn flour + 4 Tbsp water  3 Tbsp honey  Spring Onions

         INGREDIENTS: 

    •  4-5 Medium sized potatoes 
    •  4 Cups of water
    •  2 Tsp Salt 
    •  1 Tbsp plain flour (Maida)
    •  1 Tbsp rice flour 
    •  1/3 Cup of plain flour (Maida)
    •  1/3 Cup of rice flour
    •  ½ Cup of water 
    •  Vegetable oil for deep frying 
    •  2 Tbsp Oil 
    •  5-6 Cloves of garlic, finely chopped
    •  1 Small sliced onion
    •  2 Sliced green chilies 
    •  1 Tsp raw sesame seeds 
    •  ½ Tsp sugar 
    •  1 Tbsp red chili sauce 
    •  1 Tsp soya sauce 
    •  2 Tbsp tomato ketchup 
    •  ½ Tsp black pepper
    •  ½ Cup of water
    •  2 Tsp corn flour + 4 Tbsp water
    •  3 Tbsp honey
    •  Spring Onions

    I'm going to show you the recipe for honey chili potato it's tangy sweet spicy and simple irresistible so now let's take a look at the recipe take five medium sized potatoes and clean it nicely then mean these and cut it lengthwise as you can see and cut it like french fries and soaked it with some water so that it does not change its color now it's ready to be boiled and these potatoes in the pan with enough of water place it on medium heat and add one teaspoon salt.

    we are not going to boil this potatoes completely we'll remove it from the heat once it's half boiled the burritos and now half done and to check that just take one slice and try to break it by the help of a spoon and if you're able to do so then it's half done so I'll take it off the heat and strain it immediately now keep it aside for five minutes and let it cool down a little bit then I'll add one tablespoon plain flour and one tablespoon rice flour and gently coat these potatoes it's done.

    then in another bowl take around 1/3 cup of plain flour the same amount of rice flour half a teaspoon of salt mix it then add around 1/2 a cup of water and mix it properly to make a thick batter now the batter is ready this should be the consistency.
    now I'm going to add this boiled potatoes into it the flour coating will help the batter stick to these potatoes nicely and little at a time and coat them properly now I'm gonna deep-fry these with some vegetable oil once oil is hot drop them one by one and fry them on medium heat.

    once they're slightly golden brown in color take them out on a plate similarly fry the rest of the potatoes so I have fried all the potatoes and now I am going to double fry them it makes the potatoes even more crispier so on the same hot oil I will double fry them on high heat now you can see these have become nicely golden brown in Carlos this is when you need to remove it from the oil in a pan get around two tablespoons of oil and and five to six cloves of finely chopped garlic.

    1 small sliced onion saute this for a minute, then add two sliced green chilies and one teaspoon raw sesame seeds you once you see it starts to generate scalo add some salt as per your taste half a TSP sugar and mix them well then add one tbsp red chili sauce 1 TSP soya sauce 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup half a teaspoon black pepper and give everything a good mix then I'll earn around half a cup of water and let the water come to a boil.

    meanwhile in a bowl take three tablespoons of water and add 1 tbsp cornflour give them a mix then start adding the slurry to the mixture and let become stick, as you can see the sauce has now taken and it looks perfect at this point I'm gonna add three tablespoons of honey and give everything a final mix then add all the fried potatoes and coat them well with the sauce, add some finely chopped green onions and a honey Chile potato Israeli.
